6. mChatBot and WhatsApp Business Platform

mChatBot is a B2B SaaS admin platform provided by MCS. This section describes how we process WhatsApp-related data when a business customer uses mChatBot with the WhatsApp Business Platform. It is separate from our use of Meta Pixel and Meta advertising tools on www.mahiruho.com, which is described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Our Role as a Tech Provider:

When a business customer connects WhatsApp to mChatBot, that customer authorizes Meta so that mChatBot can act as a Tech Provider for their WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). In this capacity, we process WhatsApp data on behalf of that business customer to operate messaging features they configure in their admin account.

Data We May Process on Behalf of Customers:

Depending on how the customer uses mChatBot, we may process:

• WhatsApp Business Account identifiers and related account metadata
• Phone numbers associated with the connected WABA and messaging activity
• Message content and message metadata
• Message templates and other WABA assets
• Delivery, read, and related message status information
• Tokens and credentials needed to operate WhatsApp messaging for that customer

Purpose of Processing:

We process this data to send and receive WhatsApp messages, manage templates and WABA assets, and display delivery and audit status in the customer’s mChatBot admin account — as configured by that business customer.

No Sale; Not Used for Mahiruho Ads:

We do not sell WhatsApp conversation data. We do not use our customers’ WhatsApp message content to run Meta ads for Mahiruho. Website marketing and advertising practices (including Meta Pixel) remain as described in other sections of this Privacy Policy and are distinct from WhatsApp Tech Provider processing.

Customer Control:

The business customer controls templates, message sends, and connected WhatsApp assets in mChatBot. The messaging relationship with end users is primarily between those end users and the business customer.

Access, Deletion, and Contact:

Business customers (and, where applicable, end users working through that business) may request access to or deletion of WhatsApp-related data we process by contacting us at contact@mahiruho.com. We may also provide in-product request options in the future.

Hosting and Storage:

WhatsApp-related data processed through mChatBot is stored and processed on infrastructure such as AWS, consistent with Section 5 (Data Security and Storage) of this Privacy Policy.
